In good news locally, cardiologist Dr. John Pippin, formerly with Cooper Clinic and now Senior Medical and Research Adviser for Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine has agreed to look over Keith's records and make some recommendations. I'm holding off on sending the info over until after we have the ECHO reports next week. (Adding a wrinkle to things, Dr. Stoler is also on vacation this week, so we may have to wait next week on his transcription data from the cardiac catheter last week.)
Rory, Keith's oldest child, is coming to spend tonight and tomorrow night with us. I'm taking Thursday and Friday off, and look forward to a day of fun "girl stuff" tomorrow - possibilities include pedicures, outlet shopping, a trip to Sam Moon, and at least one good meal out. I had the kind of really productive day in the office today that is almost guaranteed before a couple of days off, and just didn't have time to worry about Keith's situation.
Keith is feeling better but is frustrated that he's not fully recovered from the 20 minute catheter last week. Today at lunch, rather than Wednesday boot camp, Keith was out walking in the Big Town parking lot, and said he got a pain/hitch in his groin while walking..., to the point where he was ready to call the office Sag Wagon to come pick him up. Clearly he feels better tonight as he just finished his second set of man-style-push-ups on the den floor... I think done just as a status check to make sure he still has what it takes. He does. Like a bad B-movie, I see my dialogue on the teleprompter now... "Yep, that's my man... uh huh, the one with the core..., wanna watch him do push-ups?"
